Question about converting Intercooler to my 240..... 200

Re. your question about adding IC to an auto transmission. I added IC to a 240 turbo a few years ago. It had an automatic transmission. While the IC kit that Volvo dealers sold in the 1980s included some minor replacement transmission parts - I had no problems in skipping these parts. My car ran fine without them. One small piece you don't want to skip is a small brace that reinforces the air intake bellows at the fuel distributor. Good luck...
