Home brew Chassis Braces for 700/900 series thread.

For your benefit here is the lower chassis brace.



Material needed is 40 inches of 1.50" X 3/16" flat steel and 24" of 1.00" X 1/8" flat steel.

The strut tower brace is shown below.



The round stock is 1/2" cold rold steel. Cold rold is more expensive than hot rold, but it was selected for it's good finish. The end tabs are made from 1/8" x 1", and the diagonals are made from 1/8" X 1". More diagonals were added by the time the strut tower brace was completed.

There are no prints, it was built to fit one time in the work shop.
