Studying electronics 200 1990

Well...AC and DC theory come first, then eventually on to semiconductors, transistor modeling........
Motors are usually only mentioned, but I took electronics in high school which included a hydraulics/pneumatics course. We took it as a basis for robotics, which I did take. It was not college level, though.

I was a component level radio technician for a couple years. Depending on the construction method used, I could probably take apart a fuel injection ECU and repair it at a component level. But...only if schematics and individual custom components (custom made integrated circuits,etc.) were available....
and they are not.
But, then we wouldn't be able to buy expensive parts for our volvos and that would just ruin everything now wouldn't it....
