It probably is a bad ECT sensor. This sensor is located on the intake side under number 3 cylinder. It has a little blue electrical connection so its pretty easy to find. I would buy a new one and replace it. If the sensor is bad, it will not default to a cold setting and it will tell your engine computer that your car is still warm. This causes the computer to put in the little amount of fuel that is needed after the car has warmed up. Thus, the car stalls or barely makes it after starting it up. I had this problem for a few months until i changed the sensor. I use to have to start the car three times before it started up. Now, everything is better.
I would also clean your throttle and all of the air intake things that are inside. This might help the early hesitation.
