1. You got a car for free from your dad.
2. it's a nice 940, may not be turbo but it's a nice reliable car.
3. your dad is paying for your gas.

I'd stop with the bitching and be grateful for what he is doing for you. When I started driving I got a crappy job as a dishwasher and worked my ass off to buy my first car, an 85 Volvo 240 wagon. I had to pay for the car, repairs, insurance, the whole deal. I would not have bitched if my dad GAVE ME any car.

For the record...
I'm 19 and It took me months of hard searching to find my current car, a 94 940 turbo wagon, I paid $6000 for it. and I just spent $1000 the other day on a bunch of parts that I will be installing myself in this 10 degree weather we are currently having in MA.

And you can modify them too. I'm swapping out the automatic for a manual transmission, I have all the parts already minus a flywheel.
