service and engine light on 200 1990

The service light is coming on to let you know that you probably need an oil change/tune-up....just needs to be reset. The engine light could be on due to a temporary drop in pressure which triggers the computer to engage the light (type of drop I'm not sure). That happened to me once actually around 105k and my mechanic said there was temp drop in oil pressure...nothing serious. Just a guess though.
