Repost- 91 740 Cold Start Problems

Thanks for the tips! Chris, I do hear the pump run and see the tach quiver, so I take it that the fuel pump and RPM sensor are OK. I'm also the original owner, and haven't had these problems before, so I'm hoping it's not the ECU.

Steve, thanks for the tip to check the fuel pump regulator...as for now that's what I'm leaning towards since as per the FAQ's I pulled the vacuum line and smelled fuel. So, that may be first on my list to replace since it's original.
