Hey, go for it! With the state of the used car market as it is in the UK, I wouldn't think twice about picking something up from auction. If it wasn't for that pesky water between you and me I'd be scouring the auctions for parts cars. Come to think of it, I really should check what the tunnel or the ferries charge these days for one day return tickets for a car transporter light truck plus a trailer that can carry an additional 2 cars. Three good parts cars would make it a worthwhile haul.

Lets face it, mechanical stuff is cheap and easy to transfer, rust repair and paint are expensive!
