boost controllers-Dawes device vs Turbo smart gated boost controller-What are the differences between the units?

I'm going to purchase a boost controller with an air-fuel ratio meter,it appears one is a bleed and the other a pressure relief style.Has anyone had any experience with either device and what are the pros and cons of either unit?

2 1/2 exhaust with magna flow muffler and boost and radiator temp controlled electric fan operation.
