I always pull the coil wire and tuck it in somewhere safe in the engine compartment. Shouldn't matter if the other plugs are in or not. The engine will turn over a little more easily with the plugs out, but a little bit of fuel vapor can be created as well, unless the fuel pump relay is disabled too. That's easy enough as well.
A remote starter switch can be made up to connect to that funny 2-wire T shaped plug hanging off the wiring harness just behind the battery. It's a factory installed starter solenoid wire that lets a mechanic bump the engine as needed. With a 6-ft cord and pushbutton switch, it can reach just about anywhere under the hood for your convenience. Makes this a one-man job.
