Susan,
I'm happy for you! Your story illustrates what many have experienced: When your engine won't start, chances are that they are high-voltage related. The tiniest cracks in these parts are bound to give you headaches, and more so in damp/wet weather. A friend of mine gave me a demonstration once with a water spray bottle under the hood. It was dark, so we got a nice view of the fireworks. Very educating. New cap/rotor/plugs/cables once in a while can only do good.
Erling.
