Too much hassle to bore, sleeve and install cast iron sleeves in a cast iron block.
Would be OK if the block was aluminum...Volvo uses HEAVY cast iron...just rebore (if needed), get new pistons and rings...and rebuild away.
You have the Bentley manual,yes??...if you don't...it's the blind leading the blind...enlighten yourself.
