CMP is the camshaft position sensor. Mounted on the rear of the outboard camshaft on the passenger's side.
The RPM sensor is mounted above the flywheel on the engine block.
They both sense rotation(position) of the camshaft and the crankshaft. The information collected goes to the ECM to control Spark and Fuel Trim management. Either one or both could be causing your problem.
I would suggest resetting the codes and seeing which one comes back first. That is probably your most likley culprit. Replace that first and goe from there.
