Smoking on Deceleration 140-160

Both guide wear and worn rings will cause smoking from a high RPM when the throttle is closed and then opened again. If the engine produces smoke after a period of idling that would start to point at the guides, or if it smokes on start up hot after sitting for a while. You can replace the seals easily enough without dismantling the engine, but the rings will be a different matter. Try the seals first.
