door locks problem 700 1990

Hi Dan,

I too, am having a problem with my 92 745 door locks. On mine, when I use the key in the drivers door, or open or close the drivers lock knob, I get no movement from the other locks. Yes, you are correct. There is a switch inside the drivers door that feeds a relay near the fuses by the center front ashtray. Position number "K" I believe.

Sounds like your problem is that it is always getting a signal to lock the doors. I'm not sure, but this may be a problem with your door switch or relay. Relays run about $80 from Volvo, so may want to be sure before spending the bucks.
