The brakes are different between the two. The 88 has smaller rotors.
Have a look at the FCP Groton site to see all the different rotor applications listed- there are several different ones. As for retrofitting the whole system from the turbo- that's a big project. You need the wheel sensors, wiring harnesses, control unit, brake lines... its a LOT of work.
