That's a great page on an 87/87a relay, and gives a good idea of how to wire the relays. Be advised however those relays switch power back and forth between the 87 and 87a terminals and are not generally used for fog/running lights. For lighting you probably have either one 87 terminal or 2 terminals marked 87 or 87 & 87b both of these will be powered when the relay is energized. I took some pics of the relays found in Volvos that are useful in lighting and put them up with terminal numbers where the wires go. Check the quick index and look for "relay info" there is also a text version of how to add realys but it pertains to adding H-1 lights and relays to a 4 lamp system and may not apply.
