Nathan;

A frozen pilot bearing will also give symptoms of nondissengaging clutch...did you replace it...or is there a chance that it got whacked/damaged during engine installation?

Is clutch linkage adjusted correctly...that is, is there action at slave as pedal is depressed...is there linkage free travel?
