Electric windows are common on 700's here (as is central locking). I think the "base" models are all manual but the rest (GL, SE, GLE, GLT and turbo all have electric window winders, well front at least. My 88 745 GLE has all four electric which are all still working. It also has electric sunroof, electric mirrors(heated)and heated leather seats (both front). It's just A/C that's missing.
