I don't know about the temp sensor, but if you have spark and you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail, a likely culprit is the Radio Suppression relay. You might want to pull an injector and see if it is squirting when you crank it over. If not, resolder the RS relay circuit connections. It costs nothing to try that, and your car is certainly at that age that it could be failing.
