Depends on which way you change it, doesn't it?
It's a change that if made without changing anything else usually produces results you won't like. Like motor won't idle, and the like. Has no power at low speeds. Etc. Etc.
Leave it alone, because if you have to ask questions like this you're ripe to be sold a bill of goods by someone with camshafts to sell. Your Volvo is optimized just as it is. If you want more power, it's easier and cheaper to get a different car. One were the differences are engineered rather than bolted on with nothing but high hopes.
