I think that the half washers I used were maybe OEM FI parts but I'm not
really sure where they came from. I found them in my stuff and wondered
what they were. Later I found out where they went.
The ones I had were about 3/16" thick and ended up being remarkably
close to what I needed.

Dictionary definition of culch: those items not needed in the foreseeable
future, but retained for possible eventual need.
