There is a discussion of voltage stabilizers in the yahoo
volvo100list or the 1800 list (I lurk in both). Also someone
suggested that a VW bug uses a similar stabilizer which
would not surprise me since bugs may use VDO gauges and
the 140 *does* use VDO gauges.
