you must kill all of them or they will grow
and the car will continue to rust
a body shop wanted 900 for new floor parts only
on a 85 245-23n auto I was thinking of buying for 600
total job quote was 2300
they claimed to need to pull motor and trans to replace floors
I passed and found an other car 1/2 block from the body shop
a way better 245 turbo stick 83 for 200 more than the rust bucket
it was a fla car never on salted roads unlike the 85
86 and later cars rust way less then the earlyer cars do
volvo began galivizing the floors then
hunting a good one is way cheaper than a fix
