Direct fit in any 85-88 740 or 240, and fits all 89-93 240 and 89-95 740/940 with only minor changes for the upgrade to LH 2.4 fuel injection.

The ZF trans should be worth at least $400 if it's fully functional, perhaps more. Lots of early 740s (and BMW 5-series) used it, and are in need of new ones. They are somewhat fragile compared to the later AW70/71 trans.
