When attempting to start my car after it's been sitting a while (mostly in morning) the starter pinion gear seems not to mesh with the ring gear and my car fails to start. You can actually hear the revving of the starter motor.
After this occurs I abandon the attmept and try again, and the car usually starts roughly, but it starts.
After letting the car warm up for a minute or two (Idle is usually a little erratic and low wavering between 400-700), I attempt to drive off and I usually stall. After I restart the car, it starts up and runs perfectly.
What causes my initial problems? Could it be a faulty starter (I've replaced 3 already)?
Could it be a bad IAC?
Could it be the signs of a wire harness about to go bad?
Could it be all of the above, or are all my poblems the result of separate problems?
Has anyone seen anything like this...
