164E Manifold 140-160

Hi i was just wondering what the difference is between the "Km" and "Km2" manifolds.
I have a 72 164E and have recently replaced the engine with another. Everything was the same except for the exaust manifold. my old one has Km printed on it and the new one has Km2 and an extra port on it.
What is this port for?
any advice would be great
