From what I read on other BBRD posts, a decent used one can be a better buy than a rebuilt. The Diesel-Kiki (wotta name!) was used on many 240s and 740s. Can you cruise the breakers? Sometimes, if the entire a/c system is still in the wreck, one can push in one of the schrader valves and get pressure escape. That's the compressor to get. If, of course, it fits your car.
