Fuel pump 700 1987

You shouldn't have any problem. If you put the NA pump in a turbo it would make all kinds of noise. Usually what kills a main fuel pump in 700 series cars is a bad pressure regualtor, bad in tank pump or sending unit or a blocked filter. The hose between the intank pump will split and cause poor runablity with half a tank or less. I'd check the reugulator and feed pump, otherwise you may be replacing your pump again soon. I had to replace mine because of the broken hose in the tank.
