Fuel Pressure Regulator Fixed my Performance Problem 700 1988

I wonder if this is the same issue that causes a problem with my 90 745ti M46. Usually when accellerating at highway or near-highway speeds, there is a distinct hesitation or shudder when the accelerator [pedal is mashed. It's almost as if there is a momentary interruptuion in fuel supply. I was consideringEreplacing my FPR simply because it is probably original. The cost for me from the dealer is just under $60 CDN.
