Turbos tend to use oil and to leak oil but your observation sounds flawed. Repeat your experiment to be sure. Did you park on a hill or something? The 240 turbos all came with air cooled turbos so your has been upgradedto water cooled, the standard replacement. For more boost you will need an intercooler kit and then the G-valve from dawesdevices.com
Door panels are in teh salvage yards with a little looking.
