All steamed up 700 1989

Unless you are losing coolant, you're fine: it's just condensation from the exhaust. This varies by temperature and humidity. But keep an eye on the coolant level: if it drops consistently, then you've got a head gasket problem (which is not a big deal to repair).

BTW: take a look at the 700/900 FAQ for instructions on assembling a low coolant warning system for your car.

Kiwis can go south for the winter, but that just makes things a lot worse, given that the next stop is Mt. Erebus.
