I recently changed out the 3 ended hose that connects to the coolant tank and the coolant tank itself. Took it for a drive and had coolant spray out because of a faulty clamp. Brought her home put on two clamp new clamps and the leak is gone. I have noticed some differences with the new hose/tank. With my old hoses and tank the coolant use to reach the top of the overflow tank and come out through the cap after a drive. With the new coolant tank and hoses the coolant barerly rises at all in the tank and nothing comes out the cap. No coolant loss what-so-ever! Which is normal for 760 turbos? BTW I replaced the hoses/tank because I believed the old hose had a leak and the coolant tank also had some issues. If this all sounds very stupid I am sorry! I just am not at all familiar with cooling systems in Volvos.
