Location of O2 Sensor 700 1989

On my 87 760t the O2 sensor is located on the underside of the exhaust downpipe. I believe it is visible through a mount thing that holds the exhaust heat gather-er around the pipe, you'll have to get under the car to see it. I tried to remove all the parts associated with the intake air pre-heat system and couldnt because the O2 sensor wire went through one of the pieces. HTH.
