Last night I took the speedo cable off and sprayed some silicone lubricant into the hole. It is a little better this morning, but still makes the noise. Is there any hope that this would work it I keep it up and maybe jack up the right side of the car overnight to create a flow toward the left of speedometer cluster? I am trying to avoid taking the thing out completely.
