Engine suges constantly PLEASE HELP!!! 200 1984

My brothers 83' 240 had the same problem and it was the idle air control motor,it was the original motor and it was coked up with carbon,so we replaced it for a new one and problem solved.Try IPS in Boise,Idaho they have good prices on OEM parts and their people are great.
