ceramic brake pads?

Ceramic pads work great on carbon fibre/kevlar rotors. Need to keep ceramic pads hot by either dragging on the rotor or with pad heaters. We're talking GT1 race cars here. No experience with ceramics on street cars although Porsche has it right.
