240 Idle air valve and lumpy idle

I'm visualizing my 84.

The back hose, arrow pointing toward the engine, comes up and curls through the intake manifold and attaches to an inlet on top of that.

The front hose, initially canted down, comes back up, around the front of the big bellows hose and into a fitting at the top of that hose, before the throttle body.

Just cleaned mine this weekend. It helps things.
