washer jet replacement 700

I was able to remove the jets from our '88 745 GLE without removing the pad. I used a small pair of slip-joint pliers to pinch the locking tabs in so that they fit through the hole. I have read that later-model jets are better.

My jets were always clogging. Our '90 744 turbo never seemed to clog. I found that it had an in-line filter! I flushed out the lines and installed the filter for a '90 model, and have not had a problem in the last 5 years.
