30A? That's fine. But it also gives you a clue you are following someone's work.
Turn the ignition on (pos II) and use your meter to follow the juice. First check the ignition coil terminal #15. Should be battery voltage. Then check each part of the metal connecting to the 30A fuse; the wire, the crimped terminal, the fuse itself and so forth to make sure you have battery voltage leading away from the fuse toward the main fuel injection relay under the passenger's feet.
The orange wire to the AMM, that has nada, comes from the other side of this relay, so you could take your meter there, ground it on the relay bracket and trace from there.
I have a strong suspicion you'll find the bad connection back near the 30A fuse. The wire that feeds it is often a problem, right where the battery acid speeds corrosion.
