swapping parts is ok but if the root of problem is not fixed the new parts will fail i had a car that the injecters stoped working. I changed the computer and drove it for a while only to burn out the new computer. So i traced all wires (fault finding) and there was a short at a few wires for injecters witch fed back and burned my computer after fixin said short the car never burned out a computer again for what its worth good luck
