Overdrive 120-130

I heard once somewhere some time ago that it is best to partially disengage the clutch... allowing it to slip rather than the OD clutch, but also not allowing the overdrive to basically slam in and out with zero resistance which can also be hard on it.

I don't know if that actually makes a difference, but... it works for me, and the OD in my 1800 worked flawlessly for 250k after I bought the car. DOn't know how many miles total were on there before I bought it....
