I just installed a tach on mine last week. I have a 88 240. The wire behind the instrument cluster was white with a red stripe on it. Its very simple to install. I also installed a voltmeter and an oil pressure gauge. waiting for the oil pressure sender to come in the mail now. I cant wait!!!
