use a parafin wash gun full of gunk.....then a hose with a fine spray head (not high presure just a good soaking effect...start car, drive 10 miles to dry out - works for me every time...

the parafin wash gun & gunk (I run 40/50psi thru mine) really gets in there where you CANT get brushes etc and does the job...sometimes I will go over a bad area twice with gunk...and you can even get it behind the cam belt cover etc...
