"No Heat (relay needs to be replaced)"

Is the fan working? If yes, the it may just be the relay. My '80 has a slide control on the console. It operates,via cable, a mechanical thermostat heater valve. If my heat was off, I'd check to see if the cable had come loose shutting off the flow of rad fluid into the heater core. Ie. no heat.

If your's uses a relay it may also be a simple solution.
