During a recent deluge, my 740 wagon was parked downhill, and some water evidently leaked through the sunroof, later discovered dripping from the crank area while making a turn. After reading the FAQ, I checked all four gutter drains by mouth with some tubing--all blew unrestricted. It's possible the rear of the sunroof may have been positioned too low, and enough heavy rain slipped past the "seal" to overwhelm drain capacity, in which case the rear height screws need adjustment. In the meantime, as it's been a rainy week, I removed the crank and temporarily repositioned it so when the roof is cranked all the way forward, the rear is angled slightly upward, bringing it flush with the roof. In other words, I've set it slightly past the stop position of the straight open-close cycle, and slightly into the angled-vent cycle. This seems to have stopped the leak. But the crank no longer clicks to a stop from the crank mechanism pin popping into the hole in the handle. I've found little discussion on the FAQ, nor in any of my aftermarket manuals, about properly timing the crank with these cycles. Anyone know what's involved? Thanks!!
