You asked for it! 200 1991

I don't think you understand what words like nice, respectful, and courteous mean.

Your entire post was directed at me, making an example out of me and what I have done wrong (which is nothing).

You have turned the whole Jaki thing around on me, which is a clear misinterpretation of what happened with her. You have NOT done the correct and thorough research that you should have done to make that assessment; otherwise you would have seen the real character behind that and other screen names. Instead, you have made glaring assumptions that are ridiculous, at best, and are based on one thread. The Jaki anthology covers maybe fifty threads over three years, and it ALWAYS has the same, nasty results. EVery time.

With respect to this thread, you got nasty after I corrected your WRONG post about timing belts, after you IMPROPERLY corrected my original post, which contained the CORRECT answer. I can excuse that, but I can NOT excuse the fact that you are getting nasty about it, rather than being even MODERATELY gracious, or maybe just not saying anything.

You do not understand what giving a right answer might mean to someone. People depend on answers they get here. I usually give right answers, and when I don't know the right answer, I don't GIVE it. If--on VERY RARE OCCASION--I might give an incorrect answer, I correct myself, or allow others to correct me. If I don't know the answer to something, I don't bother participating in the thread. If I don't have the answer to a question, I say "I don't know". You can find such posts all over the board from me..

If someone is correcting me for the sake of being able to correct ME (not because they're giving a good or correct answer) then I don't sit around and watch it happen. Such is the case in this thread. Your post was wrong; that's all there is to it. Now shut UP about it.

Do not engage me in your angry, foul-tempered battles anymore. Get a life, get out of my face, and leave me alone. Don't martyrize yourself by "leaving the board because people are mean to you" or any of that crap. Deal with your post, and then forget about it. Or be like "icthecat" and blame your problems on someone else. In this case, that person is me. In the future, I'd appreciate it if you could find someone else to channel your anger at. In fact, I'd appreciate it if you simply disregard any post made by me. That way you won't feel compelled to "correct" me anymore.

Whatever it is that you do, don't bother me with it. Don't post wrong corrections, don't beat me up for posting correct material, don't get angry when you're wrong and get corrected, and DO NOT scapegoat ME with some stupid arguement about things you are not informed about!

How much more comprehensive do I need to be, before I make a really rare exception, abandon my usually decent demeanor, and address you in a string of profanity that WILL get the point across? Because I assure you, while I hate to play in the gutter, I *can* play in the gutter. And that is the next step. I am sick and tired of helping people out here and having people like you SHIT on me for it. People like you are the reason I had to PULL my email from the board. I have gotten the crappiest, nasty, TRASH emails from this board, and I don't feel that I need to expose myself to that. It is unnecessary, stupid, a waste of time, and what is even worse than that, the result is that people end up getting WRONG ANSWERS. Which in my opinion, is the biggest waste of all.

That is some thanks. I love the way people get treated here. Give thousands of answers, ask a question here or there (once every six months maybe) and the reward, is that I (and others who contribute a lot) get NOTHING except negative reinforcement.

Thanks a lot for that.

You've fouled this thread. Now is a good time to un-foul it.

New Maintenance schedule says change timing belt at 60K and 80K. doesn't that seem weird? [200][1991]
