Good question. I thought that $0.20/ft was a bit much (from the local $$$ electronics store). I checked the FAQ and found a retail friendly fastener supplier listed, but nothing for the wiring.

Seems like McMaster-Carr has reasonable prices on oil/coolant resistant 14 and 16 gauge wiring.
