Consider the Thule system. 120-130 1966

Guys;

I find the Thule system, although not inexpensive, works well and is worth the cost! They have a well thought-out product line and accessories...I've carried more stuff on various Volvo vehicles than the Beverly Hillbillies when they moved!...plus, by getting the appropriate foot-kit, you can use it on any other vehicle in your stable...a highly flexible system!

With the low-rise gutter type foot-kit, it fits on all our vehicles from 122, to 1800, to ES, to 740 (I bet 544 too, although I haven't tried it yet, the hi-rise foot-kit may be required to clear the roofline)...yes, Justin, it is a snug fit (negative clearance really) when opening SOME the doors on the 122, but by just applying a bit of weight to the doors which are snug, they clear the bracket which grabs around the bottom of the gutter...and with the slop my driver's door hinges have, there's no problem at all (I haven't NOT been able to get into my car yet!) ...those brackets are dipped in Vinyl to protect the gutters from scratches, and this makes them quite fat which makes the clearance problem worse...I suppose one could cut this coating away and just wrap the bracket with thin electrical tape to still protect, yet minimize the clearance problem...I've though about doing this, but have yet to actually be moved to do it.

Sorry. I have no specific PNs...those are long gone...but Thule's on-line catalog and selection system is pretty good. I do recommend you bring the vehicle with you to verify fit of whatever rack system you decide on.

Cheers
