I have recently had almost exactly this fault, but not quite so bad.
The key thing to check, always, is that the fuel pump is running, and if it isn't, it is almost always the relay. See posts for the famous unsoldered terminals.
Try jumping fuses 4 to 6. The pump should run even with the ignition off. Try starting - if it fires, as mine did, then it is the relay.If it doesn't, then start looking at sparks.
You can try resoldering, or just get another - they are quite cheap.
